New Jersey Youth Soccer (NJYS) recently announced the recipients of the 2020 Awards Dinner presented by RWJBarnabus Health. Amongst the recipients of this year’s prestigious awards, Roselle Park Soccer Club (RPSC) was given the honor of being recognized as the Recreational Program of the Year.
“This is a huge honor for our club”, said RPSC president Max Gregory. “It is a wonderful recognition of all the hard work our volunteer board members and coaches have put in over the last five years, and is hopefully an award the whole Borough of Roselle Park can be proud of.”
While the Awards Dinner could not take place in person this year, RPSC were still able to be presented with the award by US Soccer legend and two-time FIFA World Cup champion Carli Lloyd.
RPSC was founded on principles of being open to all and representative of its diverse community. Players that register with Roselle Park Soccer Club all receive individual attention. RPSC plans on using the momentum of this award to continually improve the player experience for all members. NJYS has proved to be a big help in the development and success of the club and will continue to be important partners in providing support in coaching instruction and special needs programming.
Roselle Park Soccer Club was formed in 2015 to provide a quality soccer program to the youth of Roselle Park. Since its formation, the club has grown quickly and now provides programming to several hundred children each season from the ages of 3 to 18. RPSC caters to all ability levels, including a TOPSoccer program for children with special needs. To learn more about the club visit roselleparksoccer.com
