KIDS programs
BOOKS & BADGES (TUESDAYS 11:00 AM) Children will have a chance to build vocabulary and enjoy a book and craft with our officers from the RPPD.
STORY ON THE LAWN (WEDNESDAYS 11:00AM AGES 0-5) Bring a towel to sit on and join Miss Faith in a fun story and activity outside on the lawn!
OUR FRIENDS THE TREES (THURSDAYS 07/18, 07/25) Presented by Master Tree Steward, Michael Dimakos. Join us to learn about the amazing world of trees through trivia, riddles, fun games, hands-on exhibits and more. (Ages 5-12)
***ADVENTURE CLUB (Thursdays 07/18, 07/25) Join Miss Faith in a fun adventurous morning filled with stories and activities! (Ages 6-12)
***KIDS BINGO (MONDAY 07/22 3:00PM) BINGO! Escape the heat and play bingo with your friends at the library!
***STORY BUILDERS CLUB (MONDAY 07/29 3:00PM) Let your imagination soar with Miss Faith in this four-week workshop where you create your own story. Each 40 minute session will guide young writers through the process of storytelling, from sparking ideas to sharing their finished tales. (Ages 6-12)
1,000 BOOKS BEFORE KINDERGARTEN AGES 0-5 Sign up for our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program. Get your reading log, log your books, collect your prizes, and join us for the end of summer reading party! Sign ups are ongoing, drop in any time to sign up. Roselle Park residents only.
FAMILY EVENTS
PAJAMA STORY TIME (THURSDAYS 6:30 PM) Bring your favorite stuffed animal, wear your pajamas, and join library staff for a cozy bedtime story and craft.
LEGO CLUB (MONDAY 07/15 3:00-4:00PM) Use the library’s LEGO bricks to build your own creations. Check the calendar for dates.
SUMMER MOVIE MATINEE (MONDAY 07/01 2PM) Beat the heat and come in and enjoy a funny sunny movie inside our program room! Snacks provided.
FAMILY GAME NIGHT (MONDAY 07/08 5:00PM) Bring the whole family and play against one another!
SUMMER READING PROGRAM AGES 6-ADULT Adventure Begins At Your Library! Sign up for our summer reading program and begin your adventure. Get your reading log, log your minutes/books and collect your prizes. Sign ups begin Monday, June 10th. Our program begins Monday June 17th, just drop in and sign up at the circulation desk. KNITTING CLUB (WEDNESDAYS 1:00 – 3:00 PM) Knit and crochet winter hats and scarves to donate to charities.
QUILTING CLUB (2nd + 4th THURSDAYS 1:00 – 3:00 PM) Try out new quilting patterns with friends.
