BOOKS & BADGES (TUESDAYS 11:00 AM) Children will have a chance to build vocabulary and enjoy a book and craft with our officers from the RPPD.
STORY ON THE LAWN (WEDNESDAY 08/07 11:00AM AGES 0-5) Bring a towel to sit on and join Miss Faith in a fun story and activity outside on the lawn!
***ADVENTURE CLUB (Thursday 08/08 11AM ) Join Miss Faith in a fun adventurous morning filled with stories and activities! (Ages 6-12) Online registration required.
***STORY BUILDERS CLUB (MONDAYs 08/05, 08/12, 08/19 3:00PM) Let your imagination soar with Miss Faith in this four-week workshop where you create your own story. Each 40 minute session will guide young writers through the process of storytelling, from sparking ideas to sharing their finished tales. (Ages 6-12)
1,000 BOOKS BEFORE KINDERGARTEN AGES 0-5 Sign up for our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program. Get your reading log, log your books, collect your prizes, and join us for the end of summer reading party! Sign ups are ongoing, drop in any time to sign up. Roselle Park residents only.
TEEN/TWEEN EVENTS
TEEN POWER HOUR (TUESDAYS 2:00-3:00PM) Join Ms. Lisa at the library to work on summer assignments alongside peers. Students can also journal, color, read, or do a craft! There will be lo-fi beats and snacks!
TEEN MOVIE (THURSDAY 08/08 4PM) Relax and unwind! Teens are invited to watch a movie in the program room. There will be movie snacks!
FAMILY EVENTS
PAJAMA STORY TIME (THURSDAYS 08/01, 08/08 6:30 PM)Bring your favorite stuffed animal, wear your pajamas, and join library staff for a cozy bedtime story and craft.
LEGO CLUB (MONDAY 08/05 3:00-4:00PM)Use the library’s LEGO bricks to build your own creations. Check the calendar for dates.
END OF SUMMER READING PARTY WITH JUMPIN JAIME (FRIDAY 08/16TH 11:00 AM) Summer reading has come to an end! Come celebrate and dance with us! Roselle Park residents only.
ADULT PROGRAMS
KNITTING CLUB (WEDNESDAYS 1:00 – 3:00 PM) Knit and crochet winter hats and scarves to donate to charities.
QUILTING CLUB (2nd + 4th THURSDAYS 1:00 – 3:00 PM) Try out new quilting patterns with friends.
***ESL (THURSDAYS 08/01, 08/15, 08/22, 6-7PM) Sign up for our English learning class
TAI CHI (THURSDAY 08/15, 08/22 6:30-7:30pm) Build strength, flexibility, and balance through this gentle form of exercise for ages teens through adults. Space is limited. Roselle Park residents given priority.
