4th Annual Oktoberfest
The Borough of Roselle Park will be hosting its 4th Annual Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, September 17 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Michael J. Mauri Gazebo Park located at the corner of Chestnut Street and East Grant Avenue (use 16 East Grant Avenue, Roselle Park, NJ to get directions using GPS).
There will be plenty of fun and entertainment for local residents and visitors of all ages! The event will include authentic German music by Bernie’s Orchestra, a variety of food trucks, a beer garden hosted by Roselle Park Youth Football, and much more! Free activities will also be available for children including Boulder Dash and Meltdown.
This year’s Oktoberfest will also feature a pretzel eating contest, with three winners. Each winner will receive a special prize. First prize is a $100 gift certificate and dinner for two at Dowling’s Irish Pub and Restaurant. Second prize is a $50 gift certificate and dinner for two at Costa’s Restaurant and Pizzeria. Third prize is a $50 massage gift certificate for RP Salon. There will be no entry fee for the contest.
Entry into Oktoberfest is free. Food and alcohol purchases are individually purchased by attendees. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older to enter the beer garden or purchase alcohol. Prices per drink are set as follows: one drink for $10, two drinks for $15, and a three drink special for $21. For more information, please contact the Casano Community Center at 908-245-0666.
