2ND ANNUAL JUNETEENTH FESTIVAL
The Roselle Park Diversity and Inclusion Committee will hold the 2nd Annual Juneteenth Festival Saturday June 15th from 5 – 9 p.m. at Michael J Mauri Gazebo Park 16 East Grant Ave in Roselle Park.
Juneteenth is a celebration of American liberation. The celebration commemorates the journey and achievements of African Americans from a period of sanctioned slavery to the pinnacle of human achievement. A story of pride, resilience, and determination that will always have historical and spiritual significance. The festival, hosted by Playokee, will be filled with live entertainment, food, a wine garden, vendors, games, educational resources and much more!
The evening will include special guest speaker Jamel Holley, line dancers from “Just Class”, a live performance by Andre Davis and Mr. Magic the Hip Hop Magician and Game Truck. All are welcome to join the festivities.
