One Thursday per month library patrons meet at SCLSNJ’s Watchung Library branch to talk books. Participants Rhonda Sanderson of Watchung, Jim Schlenker of Watchung, Elissa Matthews of Warren, Dorothy Wright of Greenbrook, SCLSNJ staffer Elaine Stringer of Watchung, and Richard Yee of Warren, discussed “The Left Hand of Darkness” by Ursula K. Le Guin at the July session. On September 14 at 7:30 p.m., the group will be discussing “Minding the Manor: The Memoir of a 1930s English Maid” by Mollie Moran. On November 9 at 7:30 p.m., the group will be discussing “Where the River Bends: The Story of a Tragedy” by local author Elissa Matthews, followed by a presentation by the author.
