Your local garden club is a great way to learn more about gardening, exchange ideas, ask questions, hear speakers and meet other gardeners that live in your area. You might be surprised how much you know and can share with others. Personal experience is the best teacher.
The Rahway Garden Club (RGC) was founded in October 2010. The objective of the RGC is to enhance the gardening knowledge of the membership though education and discussion in a social atmosphere. Membership is open to residents of Rahway and surrounding towns, 18 years of age and older. Meetings are free and open to the public.
The Rahway Garden Club is organized under the umbrella group of the ‘New Jersey Garden Club’.
Garden clubs give citizens a wonderful opportunity to meet and socialize with folks that have a common interest. After all, gardening is one of the most popular hobbies in our country.
If you have a passion for gardening, come visit us. The RGC meets on the third Thursday of the month, except July, August and December.
The next meeting is on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Rahway Library which is located at 2 City Hall Plaza, Rahway, NJ. For more information write to Jkeane54@aol.com. (Subject: Rahway Garden Club)
