Poet to visit Linden Library – April 19
April is National Poetry Month and to celebrate poetry, the Linden Public Library is proud to present local artist, Tashiona Green, for an evening of poetry reading. The event will be held on Wednesday, April 19th at 7:00 p.m. in the Columbia Bank Room at the library. All residents are welcome to attend this event free-of-charge. Light refreshments will be served, courtesy of the Friends of the Linden Library.
Tashiona Green is a local author, born and raised in Elizabeth. Writing has been a passion for her and she has worked with family and youth groups to promote this love of the written word. Earlier this year, she published first volume of poetry, ‘The Flowers Rumored’. Selections from this work will be presented at the event.
