Pepe’s, 117 Watchung Avenue, North Plainfield, New Jersey, has been in business almost 40 years. Yanira Zavala, who has been the new owner since last summer, wanted to do something different and nice for the customers. She recently held a drawing for an Easter Basket. Inside the basket was two bottles of wine, chocolates, crackers, and fresh grapes.
The winner of the drawing was Edie Giordano, wife of North Plainfield mayor, Michael Giordano. There were two other winners who took home $25 gift certificates.
Pepe’s will be having a Mother’s Day Basket drawing. Visit Pepe’s at: pepesnj.com
