On October 2nd New Providence residents gathered at the Municipal Building to view several cars on display for the New Providence PBA# Local 132 1st Annual Car Show. The vehicles lined up had a wide range of categories, from military trucks, to classic police vehicles, and even an old two-wheeler. This Car show was not short on historic and classical automobiles.
The event was not solely for the purpose of car gazing, attendees had the opportunity to eat delicious burgers and enjoy cold beverages, while mingling with fellow New Providence residents. The car show also gave community members the opportunity of meeting New Providence police officers.
Other distinguishable community members included Mayor Al Morgan, as well as local veterans from The American Legion Post #433.
