The Scotch Plains Fanwood Field Hockey Club is excited to announce that Field Hockey is back in town. Field Hockey was a sport in SPF in the past and thanks to some local parents and a resurgence of interest from new players, our SPF Board of Education voted to approve a payto-play team.
This past year, our middle school team had a great first season and began to raise funds for this program. Fundraising events included: bake sales, field hockey apparel sale, bedsheet sale, a Go-Fund me site, and a Raider socks sale. Through these events the Field Hockey Club has raised part of the needed amount.
Our biggest fundraising event will be a golf outing on Monday, May 9th at Ash Brook Golf Course in Scotch Plains. There is still availability for golfers and for hole sponsors. Please contact Nick Nitti at nicholas.nitti@cbre.com if interested. Go Raiders!
