The Paul Casale Memorial Scholarship is a $1000 cash award to be given to a high school graduating senior residing in Cranford that attends any public, private or parochial school. This scholarship is expressly for students pursuing a higher education in the visual arts such as painting, sculpture, and design in jewelry, pottery, weaving, fabrics, etc. as well as design applied to more practical fields such as commercial graphics.
This Scholarship will be awarded in honor of Paul Casale a renowned and beloved painter and arts educator in Cranford and is intended to be expressly used to defray the costs of higher education (tuition, supplies, etc.) to be awarded post- high school graduation. The Board of Directors of Jersey Central Art Studios (JCAS) will issue the award based on the applicants’ artistic skills and passion for the visual arts. The scholarship deadline is June 1, 2017 selection is made by June 14, 2017. Interested applicants are invited to visit JCAS.org for more information.
