The Kean University Foundation will honor women who have carved their own bold paths of success as it raises money for student scholarships at the 21st Annual Kean University Gala, which will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the rustic Stone House at Stirling Ridge in Warren.
Patricia Barksdale of Union, a ’95 alumni, will be honored. Barksdale is a vice president and wealth management advisor in the Jersey City office of Merrill Lynch. She was most recently honored with the 2017 David Brady Award in recognition of her outstanding philanthropy, client focus and overall commitment to her company and community. The 2014 Kean University Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, Barksdale has been a staunch promoter of women throughout her career. She chairs the Foundation’s Board Development Committee and serves on the Kean University College of Business and Public Management Board of Advisors.
