Pastor Nathan Grewe was installed as the new minister at Zion Lutheran Church of Clark on Saturday, August 6, 2016.
Pastor Grewe grew up in Quincy, Illinois, and graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne, Indiana, in 2011. He served his vicarage at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville, Minnesota, and was ordained in June 2011. Since his ordination he has served as Pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Conway, Missouri and has saw his congregation grow in size from a mission church to one of approximately 100 members. Pastor Grewe not only ministered to his own congregation, but led local mission teams in the Conway area and helped with tornado relief after the devastation in Joplin, Missouri. As a big Chicago Cubs fan, he has also enjoyed coaching children’s sports teams in the past.
Pastor Grewe and his wife, Melinda, were high school sweethearts and were married in 2005. They are the proud parents of 4 beautiful children and are now living in Clark. With both a father and grandfather involved in Lutheran education, Pastor Grewe hopes to be active in the local schools and in the community.
