At the council meeting held on June 7th of the Knights of Columbus Monsignor Henry J. Waterson Council #1711, Westfield, Grand Knight George Russo handed over the gavel to incoming Grand Knight Guillermo Miguel Perez- Santalla. The Rev. Fr. William Benedetto, the K of C Council Worthy Chaplain and parochial vicar of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Mountainside, watched on and gave his blessing.
Founded in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, the Knights of Columbus is an international Catholic Men’s charitable organization, which provides assistance to families in need and defends traditional Catholic values.
