Once on This Island Presented by DBHS Theater Dept

The David Brearley High School Theater Department is proud to present, “Once on This Island.” Based off Hans Christian Anderson’s, The Little Mermaid, and Rosa Guy’s, My Love, My Love or The Peasant Girl, we follow one small girl on a tropical island, who uses the power of love to bring together people of different social classes. The musical will be performed Friday, March 31 at 7:00pm and Saturday, April 1 at 1:00pm and 7:00pm. David Brearley High School is located at 401 Monroe Avenue in Kenilworth, NJ.
The cast features the musical talents of: Chelsea Anderson, Kayla Bliss, Sophia Fiorito, Andrea Gaines, John Hartmann, Gianna Larosa, Lia Marabella, Angel Owens, Alexander Power, Sarah Raber, David Rei, Jorge Rivera, Damaris Seda, Deborah Seda, Vanessa Sierra, Jorge Soto, Alexander Velasco, and Jenna Zimmerman.
The musical is directed and choreographed by Lauren Widner, with music direction by Anthony LaBruno, and costume designed by Cheryl Widner. Tickets are $8 at the door. Come join us at David Brearley where we tell the story to see if love can truly conquer all, including death.
