18th Annual St. Baldrick’s Day
The North Plainfield Fire Department will host its 18th Annual St. Baldrick’s Day event on March 20, 2021. Again, this year, the event will be a virtual.
It is with great regret that we must hold this event virtually, but this is what we must do in the interest of everyone’s well-being and safety. You are encouraged to keep your pledge and Brave the Shave in solidarity with the kids who lose their hair to cancer treatments, or make a donation to the cause.
The link below will provide more detailed information about the event or can be used to register:

Being a virtual event volunteers are not necessary needed to “Brave the Shave.” A commitment to a day in March is not required. All that is needed is your enthusiasm and willingness to be a hero for kids with cancer. Set your own goal, challenge others to join you and raise some money in the process.
Fundraising can be done simply by joining as an event volunteer, sharing your participant page with friends, family and supporters and soliciting donations to support the clinical trials, fellowships and research grants awarded by the St. Baldrick’s Foundation each year aimed squarely at conquering kids’ cancers.
We hope to have a live event again next year and in the meantime, thank you for being a hero for kids with Cancer.
Please share this message with anyone you think would be interested in getting involved or simply making a contribution to our event.
