The Kenilworth Police Department participated again this year for “No Shave November” and for the first time “No Shave – Double Down December” where officers were allowed to grow a beard for charity.
In November the officers picked a charity of their liking to make a donation to which was run by Officer Michael Devlin of the Kenilworth Police Department. At the officers’ request the program was expanded through December and the charity chosen was the U.S. Marines Corps. Toys for Tots Program.
On December 14, 2018 Officer Devlin and Chief John Zimmerman presented the U.S. Marine Corps. Chief Warrant Officer N.J. D’Andrea with a donation check from participating Kenilworth Police Officers at the Toys for Tots’ warehouse drop off location on Oak Tree Road in Edison.
