NJRPFA Local 3 and 9 Donations

The New Jersey Retired Policemen and Firemen’s Association (NJRPFA) Local 3 of Union and Somerset Counties, recently teamed up with NJRPFA Local 9 to donate a total of $1,000 to the Ukrainian Assumption Church in Perth Amboy for the Ukrainian Humanitarian Relief Fund. The Church is currently accepting monetary donations and those of specified items listed on their website: assumptioncatholicchurch.net > Donate to Humanitarian Aid Ukraine > List.

Additionally, the NJRPFA Local 3 donated $500 to the Catch You Later Foundation. Pam O’Donnell spoke to Local 3 recently and recounted the tragic story of how husband Tim and 5-year-old daughter Bridget were killed in a motor vehicle crash on the NJ Turnpike six years ago by an impaired driver. The Foundation raises awareness about the NJS #77 Aggressive Driving program: Anyone observing an aggressive or erratic driver can alert NJ Police in the moment by dialing #77. The Catch You Later Foundation also provides college scholarships for high school seniors. For more information, visit catchyoulater.org.
