NJ Miles with Moms 5k and 1 Mile Set for May 6

Registration is now open for the seventh annual 5k and 1-mile fundraiser, NJ Miles with Moms, benefiting the Mothers’ Center of Central New Jersey (MCCNJ), a non-profit organization that seeks to support moms through motherhood. This family event will be held at Nomahegan Park in Cranford, New Jersey and features a DJ, raffle, and kid activities run by Tinkergarten and Creative Kids. The fun kicks off at 9 a.m. with the one-miler followed by the 5k at 9:30 a.m. and kids’ fun run at 10:30 a.m.
Pre-registration fees on racemine.com are $25 and $12; and on the day of the event, registration increases to $30 and $15 respectively. The kids’ fun run for ages 6 and under is free. Registration fees are non-refundable; discounts are available for two or more registrants that sign up at the same time.
The 5k will be chip-timed and awards will be given to the registered top finisher in the following five categories: Top Male Adult/Teen overall, Top Female Adult/Teen overall, Top 5K Child, Top Adult pushing a child, and Top MCCNJ Member/Alumni. A participation award will be given to all registered participants of the fun run.
The Mothers’ Center of Central NJ is a non-profit organization committed to support mothers through motherhood. MCCNJ offers many opportunities for local moms and children to connect through daytime activities and evening outings.
