New Providence Business is proud to present four free summer concerts offering music and entertainment for the whole family. The free concerts start at 7 p.m. and will feature a face painter and magician to entertain the kids, along with free hot dogs provided by Prestige Diner, water provided by Acme, and ice cream from Zita’s Homemade Ice Cream for all to enjoy.
The 2019 concert dates are:
Thurs., July 18 – “Throwback Thursday” with the West Morris Community Band
Thurs., July 25 – Kinderhook
Thurs., August 1 – Asbury Fever
Tues., August 6 (National Night Out – 6 p.m.) – Elefante Family Band with The NJ Jazz Academy
The last concert coincides with National Night Out and includes additional activities presented by the New Providence Police, Fire, and EMS (starting at 6 p.m.).
The first three concerts will be held on Thursday evenings and the fourth concert on Tuesday evening in Centennial Park starting at 7 p.m., rain or shine. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the sounds of the evening. If rain prevents an outside performance, it will be held inside in the municipal gym.
