New Providence Lions Club recently held their annual Golf Tournament at Fox Hollow Golf Club in Branchburg, NJ. The annual tournament is in memory of the Honorable Frank A. Pizzi, distinguished member and former president of the New Providence Lions Club for many years. The Honorable Frank A. Pizzi was also a New Providence Municipal Court Judge from 1976 to 1995. In addition, this year the Lions Club International celebrates 100 years of a long and proud tradition of service to those in need.
The Major Sponsors of the 2017 Tournament were Lantern Hill Golf Committee, Allstate Insurance Company of New Providence, and The Fullerton Auto Group.
The Hole-in-One Prizes included a 2017 Alfa Romea Giulia and $10,000 cash. More than 60 local businesses and residents sponsored holes and donated prizes for the tournament.

Over 90 golfers participated this year, raising over $14,000. “This year’s outing, thanks to our sponsors/donations, golfers and the Lion’s golf committee was our most successful outing we’ve had in several years” remarked Robert Campbell, Chairman of the Lion’s Golf Committee. “We’ve already begun work on next year’s tournament scheduled for June 4th, 2018 at Fox Hollow Golf Club.”

Our mission is to give back to those with needs in the New Providence Community.
