New Providence Memorial Library 17th Annual Craft Fair – October 7

17th Annual Craft Fair

The Friends of the New Providence Memorial Library  are hosting their 17th Annual Craft Fair on Saturday, October 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Conti Family Community Room in the New Providence Memorial Library.

The Craft Fair is a perfect place to find unique gifts and start your holiday shopping early! Local crafters and artisans will be selling jewelry, pottery, home goods and decor, quilts, toys, holiday items and more. The fair was begun 19 years ago to support our local crafter community. Admission is free, and all are welcome to come and shop! A portion of the sales proceeds will be donated to the Friends of the New Providence Memorial Library, and ultimately, will go to our library’s Strategic Plan fund.

The Friends of the New Providence Memorial Library is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to raise awareness and funds, as well as advocate for, the New Providence Memorial Library. We organize free music concerts and the Fall Craft Fair, support the library’s Museum Pass program, purchase movie licenses, and fund special events and programming for all ages. We curate the revolving art spaces in the library, and encourage area artists and crafters to inquire about exhibiting their work  at npmlcurator@gmail.com, or to fill out our online application form.

Our library has a new Strategic Plan created with public input and designed to guide our Library forward over the next five years. The Friends of the New Providence Memorial Library promises to support this new growth for expanded programming in order to keep our library the unique, vibrant, cultural, and educational community center we all love. We rely on volunteers and contributions from the New Providence community. Please help us as we discover, collaborate, and connect with our library and our community.   If you’d like to learn more about joining or supporting the Friends, please  visit us on the library’s home page: newprovidencelibrary.org (About/ Friends of the NPML) or email us at  FriendsoftheNPLibrary@gmail.com
