Don’t Miss New Providence’s Independence Day Celebration 2019
The New Providence Independence Day Celebration, sponsored by New Providence Business and Investors Bank, returns to the borough on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, on South Street from Gales Drive to Springfield Avenue, and will include fun filled activities for all. Our hometown DJ Michael Savage will provide entertainment from his perch on South Street.There will be “Chalk on South” (kids of all ages can get a free “bucket” of chalk to create art and messages on the street) and lots of fun for the whole family. The event begins at 7 p.m. and the fabulous fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m. Be sure to bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the festivities. In case of rain, information will be posted on the borough website, newprov.org. The rain date is Friday, July 5.
