Holiday Festival a New Providence Tradition
The Holiday Festival, featuring the Christmas Walk and fireworks, was held on Friday, Nov. 29, 2019, in the downtown area. The festival, held on the Friday after Thanksgiving, featured the arrival of Santa; a fireworks show, free treats, activities, and giveaways from merchants.
Entertainment included a petting zoo, strolling carolers, a performance by the New Providence High SchoolMarching Band, Stilt Walker, Ice Carver, and much more.
The event continued the next day with offers and activities on Small Business Saturday.
