Auditions for Guys and Dolls Announced
Mystic Vision Players, the resident theatre of Linden, is back this summer bringing the Broadway classic Guys and Dolls to the Susan L. Hudak Auditorium.
Featuring an amazing jazz score, Guys and Dolls takes us back to 1950’s NYC with gamblers who dance and missionaries trying to save their souls. Auditions will take place on May 9th and 10th at 7 p.m. in the Linden High School Dance Studio with callbacks on May 11th by invitation only.
Directed and choreographed by Judi Thaw and Barbara Brady, respectively, Guys and Dolls will feature a cast of singers and dancers from 16 to 70 of any race, ability, gender, age, and sexuality. Regardless of Guys and Dolls’ traditional character designations, casting will be completed with no regard to an actor’s gender expression, race, or ethnicity.

Rehearsals will be held Monday-Thursday evenings beginning May 15th. Performances are July 21st, 22nd, 27th, 28th, 29th at 8 p.m. and July 23rd at 3 p.m. You can find detailed audition information at mysticvisionplayers.com.
