The adults at Mt. Bethel Village, residential and day program for people with developmental disabilities, collected and then wrapped dozens of donations of clothing and toys for the Pregnancy Aid Center of Raritan, a non-profit aiding women with crisis pregnancies and their children. The goods delivered before the holiday weekend. The Center will receive the bulk of the donations, but the generosity of Mt. Bethel’s friends and families has resulted in a sizable amount of clothing to be donated to the FISH Organization in Edison and the Men’s Shelter in New Brunswick.
“The overwhelming commitment by our adults to helping the community has taken us aback,” said Lee Ann Gattorno, Day Program Director at Mt. Bethel Village. “And their insistence to be included is touching and heartwarming.”
