Mrs. Nina Conner’s second and third grade language arts students at Frank K. Hehnly Elementary School in Clark are preparing for a successful new year by flexing their newfound superhero muscle! Each student was asked to imagine themselves as the superhero in a back to school comic book. The students then wrote about how their chosen set of superpowers would aid them in progressing academically through the school year to meet specified goals. Superpowers ranged from being a good friend to being the fastest reading third grader in the world. The class’ work will be displayed on a bulletin board which will allow the entire school to marvel at their might!
