A performer who enlightens as well as entertains, he points out fascinating connections between events in history and the songs that survived them, emphasizing the importance of history as a story well told.  His family concerts are as enjoyable for children as they are for parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents.  In a return engagement at the Library, his concert is about the 70 million military personnel who participated in the First World War (1914-1918) – “The War to End All Wars” and the songs they sung. Many of the songs from this conflict have become part of the English-language oral tradition.
