Mountainside National Night Out 2023
National Night Out, a national community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships, was held on Tuesday, August 1st in front of Mountainside Borough Hall. The free event was hosted by the Police Department and featured food and entertainment.
The Mountainside Police Department issued a special thank you to the Mountainside Fire Department, Mountainside Rescue Squad, Mountainside DPW, Mountainside OEM, Mountainside PBA, The Watts Foundation, Mountainside Recreation, Union County Hazmat, and the Union County Prosecutor’s Office for making the event successful.
National Night Out culminates annually on the first Tuesday in August. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. For more information visit natw.org.
