Morris County Pathways of History 2022
Submitted by Martha Wells
The Red Brick Schoolhouse Museum will once again be part of the annual Morris County Pathways of History. The weekend-long event features free open days for many of the smaller museums and historic sites throughout the county. Because Morris County is so large, the event is spread over two days and the county is split in half. On Saturday, April 30 the sites and museums in the western portion will be open and on Sunday, May 1 those in eastern half will be open. Hours are 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. both days and admission is free.
The Red Brick Schoolhouse Museum will be open on Sunday, May 1. It is located at the corner of Fairmount Avenue and Southern Blvd.
This year’s special themes are Native Americans, Historic Preservation and Immigration. The Chatham Township Historical Society invites you to visit our museum and enjoy the special exhibits as well as the permanent collection.
For information about the other museums and sites that are included in the tour, visit pathwaysofhistorynj.net. Morris County is full of history! Come and enjoy it.
