Kyra Seeley, Miss Somerset County Will Visit Warren Library
(Children of all ages are invited to special storytime and craft event)
The newly crowned Miss Somerset County, Kyra Seeley, will visit three Somerset County Library System of New Jersey library branches for a special Storytime and Craft event. Seeley will read The Mitten Tree by Candace Christiansen and then create crafts with the attending children. Registration is required to attend. Storytime and Craft with Miss Somerset County will take place on February 13, 11-11:30a.m., at SCLSNJ’s Warren Township Library branch, located at 42 Mountain Blvd. in Warren.
“Throughout my childhood I was encouraged by my family and teachers to help others,” said Seeley. “Over the past few years it has been my goal to inspire both children and adults to give back to their communities. It is my hope that through this storytime, I will be able to encourage our youth to help their friend, peer, or community member the next time they have a chance to.” For more information, visit SCLSNJ.org or contact your local library branch.
