Millburn Recreation Annual Awards 2023
The Millburn Recreation department announced the recipients of the Outstanding Service Award and the Recreators of the Year Awards!
Ayaana Vinayak and Jaiden Shah have been chosen for the 2022-2023 Recreator of the Year Awards. This recognition is bestowed upon a current 9th-grade male and female who have actively participated in numerous programs, demonstrating exceptional sportsmanship and leadership qualities. The award honors George Bauer, the former longtime Recreation Director.
Stephanie Dasti is the recipient of the 2023 Outstanding Service Award. This award is presented to a community member who has exhibited dedication, commitment, and has made a substantial contribution through outstanding and distinctive service to the recreation department and its programs over several years. Stephanie has been part of the recreation department since 1997, serving as a camp director for 24 summers, a site supervisor, and scorekeeper for various programs, as well as contributing to senior citizens programs.
