Seeking Donations for Annual Book Sale
Friends of the Millburn Library is thrilled to announce the 2023 annual book sale fundraiser will be held onSaturday, May 6 thru Tuesday, May 9, 2023.
Clear off your bookshelves and restock for summer.Donations will be accepted April 10 – 23 at the Millburn Public Library, 200 Glen Avenue.
We are accepting all hardcover, paperback, children’s books, DVDs and new this year is vinyl records in good condition. Due to space limitations, we cannot accept textbooks, encyclopedias, directories, obsolete computer, business or health information books CDs, VHS tapes, cassettes, magazines or books that are badly worn, soiled or torn.
Donations can be placed in a specially provided bin located next to the elevator on the first floor during regular library hours. For more information, call the library at 973-376-1006. To volunteer to help with the sorting, set up and sale, please contact us at:friends@millburnlibrary.org.
Proceeds from the book sale support library programs and services such as: Museum Passes, the indoor library garden, summer and winter reading prizes.
Note: Friends of the Millburn Library members are entitled to access to the Preview Sale on Thursday, May 4, 6:30-8:30 pm. The preview will be reserved for Millburn residents only, who are also members of Friends. There will be no joining at the door. If you haven’t joined Friendsyet, now is the perfect time.
