Mayor Stephen K. Pote of Watchung recently visited the second-grade classes at Bayberry School, 113 Bayberry Lane, Watchung, New Jersey. Students listened attentively as Mayor Pote read them the story, “Two Bad Ants.” He said it was a favorite of his daughter, Jen.
The students then had the opportunity to ask the mayor questions.
The mayor answered all their questions and was able to explain with examples that they could relate to. The students enjoyed their visit with the mayor and learned about our local government.
