Marie Leppert Receives Service Award
Each year since 2012, the College Club of Fanwood-Scotch Plains has honored a club member for exemplary service and commitment to the College Club and the surrounding community. At the September meeting of the College Club, Co-Presidents, Jean Naugle and Joan Skubish, presented the 2023 Service Award to Marie Leppert.
Marie Leppert’s record of service to the College Club exceeds 60 years and she has received numerous awards for her volunteer service in other organizations.
Marie Leppert has served as President of the College Club (1959-1961), (1989-1991), and as Co-President (2005-2007). She Co-Chaired the spring fundraiser for two years and has co-chaired the Membership and Hospitality Committees. Since 2015, Marie has been co-chairing the Program Committee, providing informative and entertaining programs to club members and the public. Marie continues to be an active and enthusiastic member who continues to advocate for the College Club organization.
