Madison’s Annual Bottle Hill Day Street Fest
Madison Township hosted the Annual Bottle Hill Day Street Festival on Saturday, October 5th, 2019, in Madison’s Business District. This year marks the 45th Anniversary of this signature Madison event, which has continued to grow every year since it was first established in 1974 by Mayor Elizabeth Baumgartner.
The name originated from Madison’s original establishment in 1715 of the village called “Bottle Hill”. Over the years, the festival has evolved into a family entertainment and community celebration drawing between 10,000 and 20,000 people to the heart of Madison every fall.
This year’s event featured four stages with live entertainment all day, over 200 vendor booths, amusement rides, great shopping, delicious food and a Beer Garden.
In conjunction with Bottle Hill Day, the Madison Chamber of Commerce and Madison P.B.A. Local #92 hosted the popular Madison Car Show. One of the most prestigious automotive events in New Jersey, the Madison Car Show featured many vehicles in several classes, including hot rods, trucks, customs, antiques, classics and street machines.
