Jason Erdreich a Mazda Hero
For their 100th anniversary, Mazda is honoring the human spirit by giving back to those who given their all. They are highlighting 50 selfless individuals who’ve done heroic things for their communities by rewarding each of them with a Mazda MX-5 Miata 100th Anniversary Special Edition vehicle. Jason Erdreich, a middle school shop teacher, was nominated by his wife Cara who said “I nominated you to be a Mazda Hero because you were compassionate and generous at a time when people were afraid.”
When COVID began, MJS teacher, Jason Erdreich turned his home into a PPE factory, printing, assembling and delivering thousands of shields to our frontline workers, right here in Madison and surrounding communities.
Because of Jason, frontline workers were adequately equipped with proper PPE to continue to serve the community during this unprecedented time. We can’t thank Jason enough for being a selfless individual, doing heroic things for the community.
