Madison Police Celebrate Women’s History Month
March was Women’s History Month, which is held to commemorate and encourage the study, observance and celebration of the vital role of women in American history.
Corporal Stephanie Aquino #142 was honored this year by the Madison NJ PBA 92. Stephanie is the 6th female police officer to be appointed to the Madison Police Department since 1890. Women make up less than 13% of the United States police officers, compared to only 2% in 1970. If you see Stephanie around, feel free to say hello and thank her for her service.
