Madison Health Department to Offer Important Screenings

The Madison Health Department will be offering the following important health screenings for adult residents of Madison, Chatham Township, Springfield, and Cranford: Women’s Health Screening, May 7; Men’s Health Screening, June 11; and two Comprehensive Metabolic Profile (CMP: fasting blood analysis) testings, June 7 and June 14, 2018.
Women’s screening is performed by Dr. Rohini Jobanputra and includes manual breast and pelvic exams, colo-rectal exams, blood pressure checks and education on breast self examination. Dr. Jobanputra will determine if a PAP test is necessary on an individual basis.
Men’s screening is performed by Dr. John Dalena and incudes testicular, prostate and colo rectal examinations.
The CMP analysis includes total cholesterol, HDL and LDL cholesterol, CBC and other blood components.
