Luke Zuzovsky earns Eagle rank
Boy Scout Troop 177
Mountainside Boy Scout Troop 177 is proud to announce our 25th Eagle Scout. Luke Zuzovsky earned his Eagle rank after completing 23 merit badges, camping 32 nights, hiking over 30 miles, and devoting 70 hours to community service. He served as a Den Chief, mentoring a cub scout den, a year as assistant patrol leader, and one year as a patrol leader for his boy scout patrol. Luke also earned his Arrow in the Order of the Arrow, BSA’s honor society.
Luke’s Eagle project was clearing scrub brush away from the Lake Surprise dam, refurbishing the picnic area, and creating a footpath to cross the Blue Brook, saving a half-hour detour around the lake. Please go check it out. It’s beautiful. Please join us in congratulating Luke and his family for a job well done!
