Women’s History Month Film Series

The Linden Public Library is proud to continue its tradition of presenting movies celebrating Women’s History Month. Throughout March, popular Hollywood films will be shown on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. while Non-Fiction Films will be presented on Fridays at 1:00 p.m. A special evening film presentation, Downton Abby: A New Era, will be shown on Monday, March 27th at 6:30 p.m. All films will be shown free of charge in the Columbia Bank Room.

Tuesday films include Hollywood releases highlighting women as central characters in movies through the years. Each Friday features a biographical film about famous women as well as the PBS documentary, The Vote, which highlights the eight-decade fight for women’s suffrage in the United States. All films are shown  free-of-charge in the Columbia Bank Room at the library. The films include:

  • Monday, March 27            Downton Abby: A New Era          (2022: PG; 124 mins)
  • Tuesday, March 28           Diana                                         (2013; PG-13; 113 mins)
  • Friday, March 31               Elizabeth II: Her Glorious Reign  (2022; TV-G; 89 mins)
