The Kenilworth Public Library will host a summer-long odyssey into the world of robotics and coding, culminating in a trip to two major science and technology sites.
The Kenilworth Makers Academy, created through the generous support of the Ralph Errington Charitable Foundation, will run from June 28 to August 9 on Wednesday afternoons at 2:30 pm, followed by a trip to the Franklin Institute and the NJ Drone Academy on Saturday, August 19. Children from 2nd to 7th grade are welcome to apply for entry into the Academy by June 13, 2017. Preference will be given to Kenilworth residents and students. Entrants chosen via lottery will be admitted to a series of exciting and educational classes hosted by Mad Science of Union and Hudson Counties at the Kenilworth Public Library, located at 548 Boulevard.
