Curbside Pickup Coming Soon!
The Governor has given libraries the green light to begin curbside delivery.
During this week, we will begin the transition to curbside pickup. While we work to prepare for curbside services in a safe manner for our staff and our patrons, we encourage you to continue using our digital resources.
We expect to begin limited curbside pickup, by appointment only, for Long Hill Residents only, for Long Hill items only, starting Monday, June 22. You may also begin to place holds on Long Hill items that we have in stock. We may also give you a call if you have items waiting for you here at the library that you were unable to pick up prior to closing. No donations please.
We understand that curbside service is not a substitute for an in-person visit to the library. However we are anxious for the day when we can permit public access into the building and eventually reach a new “normal.” We have worked very hard to create a plan for the future, and when we can safely allow people back into the library, we will. There is no roadmap for situations like these, and we are doing our best to make the right decisions and follow the protocols being established by the medical experts.
In the meantime, we continue to wish you and your loved ones good health and good reading. If you have questions, please call (908) 647-2088 M-F 10 am to 5 pm or visit our website at longhilllibrary.org.
