The Dinosaur Show
The Long Hill Township Library presents “The Dinosaur Show” on Saturday, November 19 at 11:00 a.m. for Grades K-6. Real-life field paleontologists, Mike and Roberta Straka, will take you on a fun-filled scientific exploration highlighting the world of dinosaurs. Their experience excavating dinosaurs in North and South Dakota will captivate children’s imaginations.
The presentation will feature “Mr. Nixon,” an eight-foot Triceratops skull discovered by the team in 1996. An Albertosaurus skull will highlight the features of carnivorous dinosaurs. They will host the “Dinosaur Game Show” with audience members, show & tell with rare and unusual fossils, a fun science experiment and a touch of magic will round out the program.
You do not have to live in Long Hill to participate. Please register by emailing childrens@longhilllibrary.org. Suggested audience is Grades K-6.
