Linden Public Library June Programs
The Linden Public Library is pleased to announce two special programs for June suitable for all ages.
Wednesday, June 19 at 6:30 p.m. – Harriet Tubman presented by Dr. Daisy Century
Celebrate Juneteenth with us as Harriet Tubman is brought alive by historical interpreter Dr. Daisy Century. Come learn about Tubman’s life, her struggles, and her victories. The presentation will also include a segment on the history and significance of Juneteenth.
Wednesday, June 26 at 6:30 p.m. – Through the Decades Concert performed by Francine and Joel Music
Join us on this musical journey through the years featuring music from the 1900’s through the 2000’s.
Both of these programs are part of our Adult Summer Reading program which begins on 6/17. Attend programs, read books, and use digital resources for a chance to win our Summer Reading raffle. In addition to these we will continue with our regular monthly programs such as Book Club (6/5) and De-Stress Fest (6/12). Movies will be held every Tuesday and Thursday at 1 pm. Project Healthy Bones will be held every Wednesday at 10 am and Chair Yoga every Friday at 10 am.
