Two New Police Officers Sworn In
The Police Department continued to grow as two new Officers joined the ranks. Members of the department gathered in the municipal courtroom with family, friends, and city officials to celebrate as officers Juan Smith and William Ingram took their oaths on Tuesday, July 16th, 2019.
“These men have done an exceptional job in their training thus far, and we are excited to welcome them to our family,” said Police Chief Dave Hart. “We would like to thank Mayor Armstead and the members of the City Council for their continued efforts to fully staff our department.”
The officers were hired in January, and graduated from the Mercer County Police Academy on July 18th.
