The Class of 64 Reunion Committee, reunited by popular demand, is launching our Summer 2015 Linden High School Class of ’64 Celebration!
July 19th, 2015 the LHS Class of 64 will be sponsoring “GOING TO THE RACES!” ALL LHS alumni are welcome to attend. Invite all LHS classmates who graduated in the ‘60s to join us at the Monmouth Park Picnic Area, from noon – 5 p.m. Cost: $50.00 Full picnic with four entries, salads, water, soda, beer, etc. included.
Also it’s classic car day at Monmouth that day with 150 classics. Big Joe Henry broadcasts his NJ 101.5 FM’s #1 Jersey’s Favorite Hits Show live from 11:30am to 3pm from the racetrack. It’s also Family Fun Day from Noon – 4 pm. All Activities are free and include: Pony Rides; Face Painters; Clowns; Bounce House; and Live Music. So you grandmas and grandpas can choose to make a family day of it by showing off your grandkids!
July 18th Let’s also get together at the…ASBURY PARK BLUES & BREWS FESTIVAL: July 18 4 — 8pm location Bradley Park, 1300 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ. Featuring all-day music performances, and the ocean only a block away. Six truly great bands with headliner: Joe Louis Walker! Vendors, Crafters, Art, Kid’s activities and above all, Music! Also featuring a Beer Garden and Downtown shopping. This festival will be held Rain or Shine. Lawn chairs encouraged, coolers forbidden, sunscreen a must! Dancing a plus.
