700 Pounds of Food Donated to Local Families
The Lincoln School family demonstrated its generous nature by collecting over 700 pounds of food in less than five hours during a socially distanced, one-day Thanksgiving food drive.
The collection included multiple bags of stuffing, cases of canned goods, soup, crackers, pastas, cereals and all sorts of goodies in-between. Enough food was collected to fill twenty-five baskets for local families in need.
Lincoln School has partnered in this project with the Garwood Knights of Columbus, who distributes the baskets, for well over twenty years.
