Student Artwork Chosen to Tour Union County
Mrs. Planer, the art teacher at Lincoln School in Garwood, is thrilled to announce that one of her 8th grade students, Yvett Rogriguez, will have her artwork featured in the 2023 Union County Teen Arts Touring Exhibit. Her colored pencil and marker creation titled ‘Self Portrait” caught the eye of many at the Teen Arts Festival that was held at the Trailside Nature & Science Center in May. Yvett is a creative, think outside-of-the-box student whose talents are shown off through her work in the Advanced Art class at Lincoln School. The Union County Teen Arts Touring Exhibit is a 10 month touring exhibit where select visual artworks are showcased at libraries, corporations, galleries, and public buildings, giving the public the opportunity to view the talent of Union County teen artists.
